Summary

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our hospital facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our environment supports the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing projects, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital's facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
Must have manual dexterity.
Ability to communicate directly and efficiently with staff, vendors, and patients.

Able to organize and prioritize workload and able to work with minimal supervision in a certain time frame.
Able to work under pressure and perform multitasking duties under pressure with accuracy.
Ability to maintain attention to detail regarding records, maintenance checklists, policies, etc.
Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Able to safely operate lawn maintenance tools.
Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, sheet rock, carpentry, and painting and/or willingness to learn new trades.
Able to work on ladders.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Requirements

Must be licensed as a Low-Pressure Boiler Engineer with the State of Montana or become licensed within 6 months.
Proven experience in facilities management or a related field within a healthcare setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems and electrical systems.
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with schematics and logic controllers is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff and contractors.
