Full-Time Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manger is responsible for the maintenance, safety, cleanliness, appearance and overall environment of Mineral Community Hospital.  Responsible for both maintenance and environmental services departments.

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services that provides for a well-managed and well-maintained facility.  This position coordinates the activities, vendors and manpower required to maintain the current and future needs of the building and its operations. The Facilities Manager also services as the Safety Director.

REQUIREMENTS

·        Licensed as a Low-Pressure Boiler Engineer by the State of Montana or the ability to become licensed within 6 months of hire.

·        Active driver’s license and the ability to be insured.

·        Knowledgeable in Montana State building codes and safety regulations.

·        Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

·        Strong leadership ability.

·        Three years’ experience in commercial building maintenance.

·        Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, etc. as well as various pneumatics, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Develops and maintains a preventive maintenance program and provide technical assistance when needed.

·        Keeps detailed, timely records as required by federal, state and local agencies.  Attend yearly safety and maintenance education.

·        Assure that the facility, outbuildings, equipment and outside services are properly maintained and performed correctly.

·        Coordinate the involvement of the maintenance and environmental service departments in achieving facility goals while providing leadership and motivation.

Director of Nursing Services – Full-time

The Director of Nursing (DON) serves with the entire MCH Family of Care Givers in providing excellent care to our patients.

The DON is a key member of the Mineral Community Hospital Leadership Team.  The DON provides Leadership with the Administrative Team on hospital Clinical Care and quality, teamwork, management, operations, budget and strategic planning decisions.  The DON reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The DON is an integral member of the patient care team, responsible for the clinical direction of the nurses employed in the medical/surgical, emergency, surgical, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and intermediate and skilled swing bed departments. The DON serves as the nurse clinical expert role model and resource to the nursing team.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s level degree in nursing or comparable experience
Current Montana Registered Nurse Licensure
Strong leadership ability
Five Years Nursing Experience Required
Coaching, mentoring and skills necessary to encourage MCH Team Members
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assures Patient Care and Quality as number 1 priority at MCH.
Collaborate with providers and other disciplines to supervise patient care, resources and services.
Maintain current knowledge in care services and an awareness of current literature and research in nursing care.
Establish and maintain standards and policies and procedures that reflect facility philosophy needed to effectively manage the department, as well as current regulations.
Hire, train and supervise nursing staff.

Medical Laboratory Technologist

Full-time, 3—12-hour shifts; days of the week fluctuate

Includes 1 to 2 standby and callback shifts where you must be within 15 minutes of the hospital. On-site on call room available.

 

Mineral Community Hospital is currently hiring for a full-time generalist in the laboratory, must be a team player and work well with others.

·         Must have the ability to establish work priorities and handle several procedures simultaneously.

·         Must interact with other departments.

·         Contact with clients may be required, good customer service skills important.

·         Must always protect patient confidentiality.

 

This individual will be performing, microbiology, urinalysis, hematology, chemistry, serology and some limited blood bank.

Must demonstrate proficiency in all principle duties of a Medical Technologist.
Proficient in all applicable areas of testing in the department including QC and maintenance of
equipment.

Proficient in troubleshooting all applicable instruments/procedures in the department.
Participate in continuing education.
Make suggestions for improvements; actively participate in implementation of process improvements.
Perform other duties as needed to assure the timely completion of the work.
Requirements:

Medical Laboratory Scientist Licensure (current)
2 year of 4-year degree in Medical Technology
Minimum experience—willing to work with newly certified technologist.
