Mineral Community Hospital (MCH) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team in Superior, Montana. Position Overview:
At Mineral Community Hospital, we recognize that exceptional patient care begins with a supportive and cohesive healthcare team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all clinical and nursing operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
This leadership role requires close collaboration with medical providers, clinical staff, and hospital administration. You will play a key role in aligning nursing practices with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and community needs.
Key areas of oversight include the Medical/Surgical Unit, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, and Swing Bed programs. Your guidance will directly influence not only the standard of care provided but also the culture of professionalism and compassion that defines MCH.
What You’ll Do:
· Foster a supportive, collaborative culture among nurses and clinical staff
· Coach and mentor team members to grow professionally and personally
· Work hand-in-hand with providers and staff to coordinate patient care
· Ensure adherence to clinical policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
· Help shape strategy, staffing, and operations alongside senior leadership
· Promote continuous improvement and a strong sense of purpose in the workplace
What We’re Looking For:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
· Current Montana RN license (or ability to obtain)
· 2+ years of nursing experience (leadership experience preferred)
· Strong people skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence
· Commitment to teamwork, integrity, and the well-being of others
· Rural healthcare experience a plus—but not required
