Summary

This is a full time position with day shifts on Thursday & Friday. Will be paid flat rate for being on-call Saturday & Sundays.

We are seeking a fully licensed, board-certified Medical Technologist to join our team at Mineral Community Hospital. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality laboratory services that support patient care and treatment decisions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of enhancing community health.

We prefer lab experience but are willing to train the right candidate who newly certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Utilize laboratory information management systems for data entry and reporting.
• Collect and process specimens while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and assist in patient management.
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities to uphold laboratory standards.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Experience with specimen collection processing and phlebotomy is essential.
• Familiarity with laboratory information management systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
