Rustlers 4-H Club
October 10, 2022 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 pm
The Extension Office provides oversight for the 4-H program and initial point-of-contact for youth and adult volunteers. Each organized club sets their own meeting times, locations, and agendas which are subject to change.
Montana 4-H is the youth development program of Montana State University Extension, where youth try new experiences, master skills, and expand their own potential with guidance from trained and caring adults. In Montana, 4-H is the largest out-of-school youth development program, reaching nearly 30,000 youth through projects and educational activities. 4-H reaches youth aged 6-19 through school enrichment programs, after-school programs, special interest projects, camps, and community service opportunities; in addition to local, organized clubs.
In Mineral County, the 4-H program has approximately 60 youth and 24 adult volunteers enrolled. There are currently two organizational clubs; the Rustlers 4-H Club in Superior and the Camo Critters 4-H Club in St. Regis. A third club in Alberton, the Petty Mountain Trackers 4-H Club, is currently in abeyance due to lack of members. Youth that are not enrolled in an organized 4-H Club may still enroll in 4-H and are treated as “at-large” members.
The Extension Office provides oversight for the 4-H program and initial point-of-contact for youth and adult volunteers. Each organized club sets their own meeting times, locations, and agendas which are subject to change. The Organizational Leader for the Rustlers 4-H Club in Superior is Shirley Edison, 822-3991, and she would be the point of contact for that club. They currently meet the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the 4-H building at the Fairgrounds in Superior.
Email information may be sent to our office at mineral@montana.edu . The Montana 4-H website is: http://montana4h.org/
