Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non x-ray test that uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to make pictures of organs and structures in the body.  We offer MRI services every Monday from 8 am until 11:30 am. This requires a providers order.  Most insurances do have to be preauthorized. Computed Tomography (CT) is a type of Imaging. It uses special X-ray equipment to make cross sectional pictures of your body and the CT scanner at Mineral Community Hospital emits the lowest dosage of radiation of any CT scanner in the area.
