MINERAL COUNTY RESOURCE COALITION
“Restoring Economic Stability to our Rural Counties, Schools, Hospitals and Communities by Partnering with State and Federal Land Management Agencies for Sensible Management of our Natural Resources on our Public Land”
The Mineral County Resource Coalition (MCRC), is a diverse group of citizens that come together for regularly scheduled meetings, to create a dialog with the intent of finding resolution to the issues facing natural resource management on public lands in Western Montana with an emphasis on Mineral County. We support active forest management to improve forest health, maintain water and air quality, reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfires, restore wildlife and fish habitat, improve recreational opportunities, and provide a consistent, reliable and sustainable source of timber to our local timber industry.
Come see what we are all about! The first Tuesday of each month at 9 am in the Mineral County Commissioners Office
