Child Abuse and Neglect Community Forum – ALBERTON

Where: Alberton Community Center
When: Wednesday August 15th, 6:30-8pm
Why: The Mineral County Health Department is hosting a community forum to discuss one of the topics of health concern from our Community Health Improvement Plan; cited by our community- child abuse and neglect. We would like to update the community on how we have been addressing the issue through partnerships, and would love feedback on how community members feel we can be of more assistance.
We will also have our very own (newly assigned) Mineral County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) there to inform the community of what a CASA is, how they help the kiddos in our county, and how you can get involved with this wonderful organization!
Who: ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO COME
