Mineral County Medical Foundation
April 9 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 12:00pm on day Second of the month, repeating indefinitely
The Mineral County Medical Foundation has raised, and spent over $250,000 to help with the medical needs and services in the county. This group of citizens meets monthly to discuss fundraising events and ideas and to go over requests from the medical community, usually on unbudgeted items. The annual Golf Tournament is the biggest fundraiser of the year when everyone on the committee helps for the day at Trestle Creek Golf Course in St Regis. A springtime celebration event has been successful too and this group has been helpful at the Mineral County Fair helping with the cooking and selling of Vikings and corndogs in the Mineral Community Hospital booth. They enjoy working together and make it fun whatever they do as they know just how important our health care services are being this far from Missoula.
New blood and new ideas (volunteers) are always being recruited so drop by for a free lunch on the 2nd Monday of the month at noon in the Board Room of the Ponderosa Building just west of the hospital.
